Anila Chowdhury is a semi - professional musician and released a few albums (mixed ) under the auspices of the G series . Very recently moved back to Dhaka after living in the U.S. for about 8 years and currently works as a professor at the University of North South .
She was born and raised in Dhaka , Bangladesh , and went to Viqarunnisa Noon School and College . After completing his HSC , he went to the USA in 1999 for higher studies . She received her BA from Mount Holyoke College ( MA ) and MA from Tufts University ( MA ) , both in Computer Science. He also worked at Microsoft Corporation as a software test engineer for a few years between their universities.
Her musical training includes Nazrul Sangeet lessons for 5-6 years Hindol Sangeet Academy under Khalid Hussain . During his years in the United States who had been involved in a rock / pop - ish Bengali Band name Kranti ( co-founded by Fuad ) - vocals , as well Amra Kojon ( a music group , based in New England ) . During his days in Seattle was also part of a Bengali musical group based in Seattle called Pratidhwani .
