Bangladeshi Singer Habib Wahid

Habib Wahid is a popular Bangladeshi composer and musician, known Habib. He was born on October 15, 1976. He is notable for his fusion of traditional Bengali music with contemporary techno and urban beats. His number is usually advice Bangladeshi British while he lived there as a student. He takes folk music and remixes with popular music forms. He remixes songs of composers like Hason Raja, Shah Abdul Karim, Amir Uddin and others with the music with hip hop, reggae, rap and electronica.

 

Habib Wahid won a number of awards as best musician and rising star at the beginning of his career, and later got Meril Prothom-alo Best Song Award 2006 Bhalobashbo (film: Hridoyer Kotha) and Meril Prothom-alo Best Song Award 2009 by Didha (movie: Third person singular). In 2011, Walton Boishakhi earned Star Award 2011 for Best Singer 2010 .
